Free general entrance to the event + $10 competition sign-up fee with proceeds going to the 12 Days of GRiZMAS supporting Seven Mile (music, arts and coding programs for Detroit’s youth). The competition will follow the format of the United States Coffee Championship (USCC) Latte Art Throwdown, a program of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and a red lantern (biggest fail) for the most epic fail of the competition. The event will also feature a local charity art takeover and the official coffee launch party which will commence shortly after the competition and include live music and drink specials.
