This class walks students through the fundamentals of brewing coffee that applies to every method of brewing, we call them “The Big Four” of coffee: dose, yield, grind size and brew time.
Each student will experience the differences between a handful of the industries favorite brewing methods. We will also taste a variety of extractions to learn the characteristics of over, optimal and under-extraction. This class includes hands-on brewing time as well as a basic introduction of “seed to cup.” Each class provides a bag of our favorite single origin coffee’s to take home.
